El Paso area signings
Congratulations to Haley Beechler, Dolores Hidalgo, Stacy Manship and Vanessa Loya, all RapidFire alumni, for recently signing to play volleyball at the next level.
Hank’s Haley Beechler signed with Coppin State University. Coppin State, within the University of Maryland System, is located in Baltimore. Head coach Romonzo Beans is in the middle of a rebuilding process, seeing his Eagles go 1-29 last season.

Stacy Manship, also a Hanks graduate, will play for Concordia University. Concordia, a Christian university based in Austin, TX., plays in the American Southwestern Conference, a NCAA Division III conference. Led by April Birdsong, the Tornados went 8-19 during their 2009 campaign.

Canutillo’s Dolores Hidalgo will play for the Lourdes College Gray Wolves. Lourdes, who plays in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, is located in Sylvania, OH. The Gray Wolves are coached by Greg Reitz. Hidalgo will part of school history as she anchors what will be the inaugural volleyball team for Lourdes.

Vanessa Loya, also a Canutillo graduate, will attend Colby Community College in Colby, KS. Head coach Carey Jones, in her second season at Colby, went 14-29 in her first season. The Lady Trojans participate in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
