Today’s games

A couple of nice match-ups going on Saturday include the Deming/Alamogordo game, and Magdalena/Estancia contest.

The improving Alamogordo Tigers against the scrappy Deming ‘Cats. Alamogordo head coach Warren Thomas reported to me earlier this season his focus in building the program was finding a consistency and creating an “assembly line” of excellent players. Looks like it’s starting to work.

Magdalena is getting a taste of their new 2A competition when they face the Lady Bears of Estancia. The the Lady Steers obviously need some time to get acclimated to their move into 2A, but I’m sure they won’t make easy for Estancia. I’ve always enjoyed watching these two teams play; it should be a good battle.
