Hatch Valley hosts Pink Out Tonight
Hatch Valley will be having a Pink Out at their home game against Hot Springs tonight at 5:00 PM. If you’re in the area, make sure you make it over to the Bear’s gym and support the cause!
Bernalillo Gets Big Win
Bernalillo dropped the first two sets to SF 22-25 and 24-26 at Dig Pink event held at SF High Saturday Night, but engineered a come back, winning three straight 25-12, 27-25 and 15-3.
The Spartans lead by captain, Sarah McPhee with 14 kills, Cedar-Rain Yellowmule and Chelsea Darnell had 11 kills, with Katie Darnell chipping in 10. Olivia Layden had 38 assists on the night.
Bernalillo, now at 10-2 (2-1), will face district foe Española Valley 7-7 (2-1), tomorrow night for control of second place in 4-2A.

Games to Watch
Rio Rancho hosts Cleveland @ 6:30
The battle of Rio Rancho begins tonight, and while some might think might not be an exciting match, I’m sure Coach Manzares will pull a trick out of his coaching hat to make this interesting. Keep an eye on Erika Barbour, who had 21 kills in the Ram’s win over Las Cruces on Saturday.
Las Cruces hosts Gadsden @ 7:00
While 3-5A hasn’t been as competitive as it once was, these two are making it interesting. The size advantage clearly belongs to the Bulldawgs, but size hasn’t been so much of a problem for the Panthers, taking it to 5 sets with Cleveland earlier this month.
What Gadsden does do extremely well is play smart volleyball–if Las Cruces can’t make the adjustments it needs to, Gadsden could make it a long night for the ‘Dawgs.
