Las Cruces downs Mayfield

The traditional rivalry between these two schools extends to every activity imaginable, although there is another rivalry the Bulldawgs are forming with Centennial (that’s for another post.) 

The Bulldawgs pretty much handled Mayfield without a whole lot of problems, especially in the first two sets. In the third, things got a little shaky with Cruces’ serve-receive, keeping Mayfield in the game.

Looks like Sandia took down #1 La Cueva in Tuesday night’s matchup. It will be interesting to see if Centennial leapfrogs over the Bears in the rankings on Friday.
