Pojoaque Wins Big
To their credit, the Pojoaque Valley Elkettes bested the best in 5A and 4A to win the 2011 VolleyBash title this weekend.

Sandia Prep Wins Tournament
Sandia Prep beat Bernalillo, 3-0, to win its own tournament on Saturday. Raton finished third and Santa Fe Indian finished fourth.
Both Prep and Bernalillo went into Saturday without losing a set. Sandia Prep dropped a set to SF Indian in their 3-1 win, and carried the momentum into the final.
Dixie Cooper from Prep was named the MVP.
